By accessing or using the Famity platform ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Famity is a family management platform that helps parents and children build consistency through shared goals, chores, rewards, and financial literacy tools. The Service includes a web application and a progressive web app (PWA).

3. Accounts

To use the Service, a parent or guardian must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Parent accounts may create child profiles within their family. Children access the Service through family codes and credentials set by their parent.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other accounts or systems.
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure.
• Upload harmful, offensive, or inappropriate content.
• Use the Service in any way that could harm minors.

5. Subscriptions and Payments

Famity offers a free tier and a paid "Plus" plan. Paid subscriptions are billed monthly. You may cancel at any time, and your access to Plus features will continue until the end of the current billing period. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis.

6. Children's Privacy

Famity takes the privacy of children seriously. Child accounts are created and managed by parents. Children do not provide personal information directly — all child data is provided by the parent. Please see our Privacy Policy for more details.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, design, and code within the Service are owned by Famity. You may not copy, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the Service without prior written permission.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Famity shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or an in-app notice. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion.
